*** IN STOCK SHIPS TODAY *** You have worked on your hot rod all day and now it is the time to start this baby up. The anticipation builds as you hang the starter on spin the hand wheel knob and spin and spin still the starter jaw will not throw out.
Wait this is not how the story is supposed to go you think, well my friends there is a good chance that the brass wear ring in the baffle plate has served its duty and is tired or if the starter has hiccupped due to low batteries or a cold engine kick back you may have broken the brass ring inside the baffle plate.
An easy fix with basic hand tools is all that is needed and you will be back to the fairy tale story of starting your hotrod up.
Brass ring is designed to be used on the newer type RCD blower starters with a six inch gear housing that use the 2.170" starter jaw.
