Offset Mag Drive Front Mount Dunn

*** IN STOCK SHIPS TODAY *** Billet front mount offset magneto drive. This magneto drive was designed with the intent of using it where a large roots blower would be used or a set back roots blower where magneto clearance would be a issue on a BBC or 392/417 Donovan combination. It also works great in a pro mod situation where hood clearance is a issue and you don't want a mag 44 sticking thru your hood.

This drive is constructed from billet alum. with a heat treated steel shaft to drive the fuel pump. The shaft has a .375" male hex to be used with all .375" female shafts and uses a .375" female to drive the fuel or oil pump. The shaft is supported with a bearing on each side of the shaft to help with fuel pump longevity and the drive belt is .500" 5mm belt. Magneto is driven by a Dunn cross coupler.

This drive is 2.50" thick and has a 6.30" offset from center to center. This drive can be mounted in any position you desire for clearance. This drive is also lightweight coming in at barely over four pounds. The unique feature of this drive is the fuel pump can run direct off the cam or it can be driven off the offset portion of the drive allowing the fuel pump to be lower and getting fuel easier.

This drive can be ordered to mount using a marmon pump clamp or can be bolted to the pump extension. Also there is the option of using a clamp for the fuel pump as well or bolting it direct to the offset drive.

RBS also offers magneto support clamps and recommends the use of a billet mag clamp which can be found in this section.

Drive pictured is the quick release clamp design that drives magneto off the cam and fuel pump on the offset getting the fuel pump low and giving the timing more stability being driven straight off the cam.
