*** CW & CCW IN STOCK SHIPS TODAY *** If there was a product of year award we would have to nominate this new RCD mag/fuel pump drive as one of the best new ideas to come out in the racing industry in some time. This mag drive fills the void for many racers that have little room in the front of there door car due to fuel tanks in the way, fuel altereds that have little room between the firewall and the back of the engine for an offset or a blown Ford small block where simply there is no where to put a mag with a blower on top of the engine.
This mag drive simply clamps to any of the industries quick release fuel pump extensions and allows the racer to rotate and position the mag or distributor anywhere they need to for the best fit in the application.
The mag drive housing is made from billet alum. and is a CNC machined piece of art with all mounting flanges O-ringed so there is no chance of oil leaking and the drive uses sealed hi speed precision bearings with a billet heat treated steel driveshaft that uses the industry standard .375" hex drive to be driven off the fuel pump extension and a female .375" hex to drive the fuel pump. The mag drive will work with all Mallory or MSD magnetos and has -3 oil feed port for the mag drive gear, no need to space the blower drive out to clear the mag drive which tends to add stress to the nose of the crankshaft and creates numerous blower drive issues with added expense.
RBS recommends #370-0002 billet fuel pump clamp to mount the mag/fuel pump drive to the fuel pump extension as well as a generator support brace assm. Mag drive from mounting flange to mounting flange is 3.00" thick and from center of driveshaft to top of mag mounting base 3.750". The mag drive is light only weighting four pounds as seen in the pictures with the support assm.
Racers have a choice of clockwise or counter clockwise rotation so please specify when ordering from drop down menu. Also racer can pick black anodized finish on drop down menu if you like the sinister look on your race car parts.
MAG DRIVE USES 3/4 OZ. OF 75-90W SYNTHETIC GEAR OIL IN THE GEAR BOX.
