RCD offset dual magneto drive. This magneto drive was designed to save the racer money and offer some adjustability on the engine. With the idea that a racer could have generators loaded onto this drive and a #2500-0008 mag drive in the engine blocks a racer could switch mags from motor to motor quickly and correctly without having to equip each motor with a mag drive and set of mags.

This dual drive uses a Gates GT belt that is .500" wide, 8mm Kevlar, so belt stretch and timing fluctuation is not a concern. The magnetos are driven by a four jaw coupler which is included in the drive assm. to mount your MSD or Mallory magnetos.

This drive is 2.50" thick and has a 6.60" offset from center to center. The backside of the drive has a drilled and tapped 3/8-16 hole for helping support the drive and includes a rod end that can mount between the idler bracket and motor plate for support. This drive can be mounted in any position you desire for clearance. It mounts using a billet mag clamp which can be purchased under part number #2500-0016.

This drive is also lightweight coming in at barely over three pounds. This dual drive must be used with a RCD #2500-0008 single mag drive which is purchased separate from this dual drive.
