Burst Panel Adpt. Weiand Early

For the racer that is running an early Weiand blower manifold and wants to add the safety of an SFI burst panel RBS carries this slick billet alum. burst panel adpt. Made from billet .375" alum., racer simply takes off their spring loaded back-fire valve, installs four flat head cap screws provided with the burst panel plate, smear a wipe of your favorite RTV silicone across the back of the plate install the bolts and you are done.

Plate is drilled and tapped with twenty 10/24" thread holes that will work with industry standard SFI burst panels. If racer needs a burst panel and frame be sure to check out part number #2000-0014. The 3/8" bolts intersect with four of the 1/24" holes so only twenty bolts can be used to attach the frame to the burst panel adapter.

Plate measures 6.125" x 3.125" with a 3.50" x 1.750" hole in the center to let boost out of becoming to excessive. Hole is offset in the plate so it sits down below the blower surface. Fits all early Weiand manifolds that use the 3.50" on center backfire valve four bolt pattern. These were common on early BBC and 392 Weiand manifolds, back when they said Say Why-And on the castings.
