Here is a nice tool to take the guess work out of something that has to be done on a regular basis with a race engine. Over torque can strip or crack nuts, adjusters or rocker arms. Under torque can cause the nut to come loose and the problem only gets worse.
This kit includes a T-handle hex wrench of the racers choice at time of purchase and racer must specify socket size for valve adjusting nut at time of purchase. Once valve lash is set give the handle a turn until it clicks and you now have the foot pounds of specified torque every time. Includes detailed instructions, T-handle wrench, and valve adjusting torque wrench.
The #2700-0059U is similar to the #2700-0059T, but with a 1" longer handle and the ability to increase the torque setting up to 45 ft. lbs.
It also features a welded-on socket for a long service life in a high torque environment. Ideal for steel rockers and used on blown alky and fuel engines.
Each LSM tool is custom configured for your application. Contact RBS to choose socket size, hex key size, and torque setting from 28-45 ft. lbs.
Our most common Hemi wrench is 1/2" socket with 45 ft. lbs. torque. Racer can choose socket size from drop down menu.
