Customer traded in a box of parts and in the box of goodies was what looks like a new MSD 4.00" mag cap. This is the cap that is held on with two thumbwheels.

This cap fits all MSD 12, 20 and 44 generators. The cap is molded from Dupont Rynite material which allows for excellent high voltage isolation characteristics. Spark plug style terminals are used to make a solid connection to the spark plug wire terminal.
