All gears are made from heat treated steel and are finish ground for complete concentricity. Gear set includes a single keyway crank gear, an idler gear that has the outer race ground into it using a high speed roller needle bearing and a cam gear that uses a nine hole vernier to dial in cam timing.
Gear drive includes a mounting hardware kit, thrust bearing and washers, woodruff key, and cam thrust plate. The cam hub uses a .375" hex shaft to drive the fuel pump or mag drive. This gear drive is set up to be used on a standard cam height, cast iron or alum. CN and Dart engine blocks.
RBS can also supply pump extensions or cam covers per the customers needs when ordering the gear drive.

Rear cover is .720" thick, front cover is .930" thick billet 2024 alum. Back cover is O-ringed on block to cover as well as back cover to front cover surfaces along with the water ports.
Idler gear is permanently mounted on the back cover on a bolt on heat treated steel idler gear axle.
Front cover has -10 AN/ORB ports for the racer to plumb the engine for cooling.
Front cover has built in wings for crank support, crank trigger mounts, and crank mounted starter drives.
Cam cover can be set up to run a fuel pump, mag drive, tri-drive or many other accessories off the cam shaft and if no accessories are to be run off the camshaft a flat cam cover can be purchased.
