SBC/BBC Mag/Distributor Hold Down Clamp #26215

These mag/distributor drive clamps are CNC machined from .500" chromoly steel to provide maximum clamping strength to stop your magneto/distributor from turning and causing timing issues. With its pinch clamp design it locks three hundred and sixty degrees around the mag drive stem versus the two small contact points on most claws.

Then the racer has a slot to lock the clamp down to the intake manifold with a bolt, then there is a drilled and tapped 3/8"-24 hole that the racer can use the provided bolt to help set the height and keep the clamp parallel so everything is square, locked down and once timing is set it will continue to stay at the desired timing setting.

Hole in clamp is 1.375" locked down snug, racer can measure their mag drive to make sure it is close to measurement and will fit around the drive housing. On the bottom side of the hold down there is another pocket machined 1.850" that will fit Accel or MSD distributors with a larger flange or if the racer has installed a Moroso #26217 adjustable collar on their lower distributor housing.
