Cam gear is machined from 4340 billet steel with lightening holes machined into it and the teeth are finish ground after heat treat to maintain perfect concentricity giving the racer the most accurate and smooth gear for the best cam timing possible.
Cam gear has fifty two teeth, is .625" thick and has a nine bolt Vernier to allow the racer cam timing where they want it and not close enough as with other gear drive manufactures. Gear uses nine 1/4" bolts to attach to the gear drive cam hub and each gear tooth is numbered to help the engine builder set up cam timing.
