The old alum. washer with the flat head bolt is tough to remove, this new design is simple and with a hex head bolt installing or removing is simple with a 7/16" socket.
Designed for a .250" bolt, O.D. is .980", .200" thick with a .140" step. Washer is made of billet heat treated steel that is black oxide finish.
