Pioneer Front Mounted Billet Mag Drive SBC/BBC

This mag drive is made from billet alum. and allows you to use a Mallory or MSD mag on the front of the engine so a large blower can be used without magneto interference on a SBC engine. It includes the drive to drive a 3/8" hex fuel pump with a helical gear to drive the magneto and uses a precision ball bearing to keep the fuel pump shaft concentric on the front of the engine.

The drive fits most Fowler, Donovan and other gear drives with the 6.00" in diameter round cam cover. The cam cover is O-ringed and has a oil line to feed the mag drive to provide lubrication to the gears. Milodon gear drive covers with a 6.250" cam cover.

The racer must use a 10.20" tall deck with an adjustable slip collar mag drive in this front mounted mag drive. Cam cover is not drilled so the racer will have to clock the mag drive where they want it and drill the holes to mount the mag drive to the front gear drive cover.

SBC cam cover is 5.750" in diameter, 3.50" from front cover to fuel pump mount surface and from the center of the camshaft to the top of the drive where the mag drive drops in is 7.00".
