The main rail is .300" thick billet so it does not bend and the entire pan is tig welded .090" alum. to provide superior strength with added skid protection welded in front and rear on all pans to provide superior protection.
This pan is available for wet sump BBC Gen 4, Gen 5 or Gen 6 and there are many available options.
Included is a dzus windage tray to help keep oil off the spinning crankshaft as well as a steel oil pick up that is set up for a conventional BBC wet sump oil pump. Oil pan includes a bolt in dip stick to check oil level as well as a -10 ORB drain plug.
Pan pictured is a fourteen quart version and measures from block surface to bottom of the pan 8.00" and is 11.00" wide.
When ordering please specify crank stroke, block starter provision and racer needs to keep in mind oil pan pictured is designed for a remote mount oil filter application and a mini starter. Choose from drop down menu for engine block type.
Racer can add a kick-out which adds a quart and half of oil capacity, adds 1.500" in width and provides a better way to control the oil around the crankshaft. Kick-out is a $40.00 option added to the price.
