On the surface of the newer P&P/RCD burn down breather pad there is an O-ring to provide the racer with a leak free seal between the burn down breather and the valve cover.

Over time they can get worn, tear or get lost and then you will be stuck with red rags and duct tape. No fun!

Do yourself a favor and if you have these burn down breathers on your race engine treat yourself to a few to keep in the tool box and keep your motor leak free.

O-rings are Buna rubber and are sold individual. Burn down is shown in pictures for picture purposes only.
