Racer can purchase separate a simple clean mounting bracket made of 4130 Chrome Moly, .063" thick, fits 1/2" or bigger tube and comes pre-bent with holes drilled to mount the battery mount to. Picture number seven thru eleven show the mounting bracket and mount bracket with battery holder.

Racer can use one of these to power the trans brake, Racepak computer with 02 sensors, and an oil circulating pump, all without any trouble. Simply exchange the batteries between rounds.
