Fitting uses a 304 stainless steel screen that is made from .015" diameter, 16 mesh wire to keep harmful debris from being sucked into the oil pump. Fitting can rotate for proper hose orientation with a Non-restrictive flow design.
Hose fitting side features the “cutter” method of hose attachment, when tightened the internal cutter imbeds itself into the end of the hose.
Fitting measure from ORB surface to top of jam nut 2.50", jam-nut is 1.625" hex that tightens against a .100" thick Teflon washer. -16 hose end is swivel so with the banjo type mount and swivel hose end getting everything clocked will be a snap.
If hose needs to be removed simply take the big 1.625" jam nut off, remove Teflon washer, slide the hose off the internal fitting, spin the cap nut on and fitting is capped, hose is removed and you can go on with motor swapping tasks.
