During engine service the racer can check rods for sizing and roundness, hold the connecting rods when wanting to lighten or balance them, check rod bolt stretch or any other shop function that you don't want the part beat up in a steel jaw vice.
Vise can be bench mounted and includes bench mount attachment or clamp in a shop vise and get to work. Included is a speed handle to make opening and closing the vice a snap. Vice is made from billet alum. and uses an Acme thread with bushings that slide up and down on the stainless steel shafts for the smoothest operating vise you will have ever used. Vise opening is 7.680" x 2.250" tall.
